Our Story
Founded in 1999 the FreeZoneProject.org has been focused on helping locals maintain a life in the FreeZone.
Led by Scott Schrey, we are comprised of a tight-knit group of like-minded professional recovery people. Doctors, Therapists, Counselors, Community leaders and citizens. Strong, caring and compassionate; we talk directly to people, never down at anyone. We are fair, precise and articulate. Our teaching focuses with bullseye accuracy using honesty to dispel denial and understandable ignorance.
We've walked in the shoes of our attendees. The FZ has crafted an effective escape route to completely circumvent the costly deathtrap of active addiction- using cognitive techniques of honesty to consistently block denial like a personal shield.
We help foster motivated individuals by taking simple facts and turning them into personally agreed upon declarations, individual mantras and ultimately permanent altruistic actions.
Our mission is to eradicate the path of self-imposed depression and addiction,
now and for generations to come.

Our Mission
The FreeZone Anti-Addiction Project is a radically different approach to dismantling the addiction epidemic.

The FreeZone program, through workshops, one-on-one coaching and curriculum integration, spearheads all of the difficult and taboo topics of addiction and life that people inevitably faced.
Our ultimate goal is to give everyone prior alternative, healthy, self-respecting coping options to use as they think through and process personal and socially debilitating hardships.
The FreeZone Project aims to prevent addiction at its core. FZ provides the tools and support for each person to know they matter. We bolster a deep-rooted foundation of self assurance to prove to themselves the importance of living like "you matter" in every aspect of their life.

Scott Schrey
Our Team Leader Scott Schrey created the FreeZoneProject.org.
Rodney Carroll
Joining the FreeZone Team in 2019 Rodney works as our social media manager. With a lot of interest in spiritual growth and overcoming many life obstacles and self-imposed depression he has grown and become a great support of the FreeZone mission.
Rodney has experience working with youth in philadelphia with Neighborhood bike works afterschool programs and also does work with private clients for spiritual guidance.
Dinna Alexanyan
Dinna Alexanyan worked for Child Protective Services for 5 years as a top tier psychologist/case worker for the group homes unit and emergency response unit. Prior to that, she was a house parent and ran a group home for two years.

Dinna Alexanyan is also the founder and director of the non profit Sybarite Productions Inc - committed to the education, mentorship and future employment of talented youth in the arts.
